Globalization of governments has been a concept for many years, and it is destructive to the American way of life. While helping other countries up with the fruits of our success has long been a hallmark of the American Dream, giving away our power and authority never has. The Founding Fathers of the United States of America intended for us to be FREE from tyrants oversees, and to have a voice in our laws. Globalization of government is opposed to this concept, because it is opposed to National Pride and Power. Those who would support groups like the EU are Anti-American, because their purpose is to give away what made this country great in the first place, PATRIOTIC PRIDE!!!
The United States of America is the greatest country is the single greatest country in the world. We are powerful, and unapologetically proud to be part of this great experiment where the governed are the source of the government's ability to rule. A place where our voices would never become lost in the crowd. A place where we work together to become the great melting pot that changes society, where enemies can become comrades, and differences are set aside in favor of similarities. While there is strength in diversity, there is greater strength in our unity as a nation. America is meant to be where we can celebrate where we came from, but always be AMERICANS first!
There seems to be a misunderstanding of what is going on here today. The United States of America is not meant to be just one voice in the chorus of nations, we are meant to be the SUPERSTAR soloists that steer the world toward a brighter future by their striving to become more like us. We cannot do that by giving up our authority to other governments, or joining organizations where other countries get to choose our path. The Trail Blazing Spirit of American Ingenuity can continue to spark innovation and inspiration for generations to come, or we can just surrender to whoever comes in the next boat.
The right to vote was sacred in the eyes of our Founding Fathers. It should ONLY be given to proven Citizens of the United States. As such, voter registration should require proof of citizenship, and you should have to verify that you are who you say you are. Laws that encourage lawlessness at the voting booths through no requirement to produce identification ought to be criminal. Requiring states to issue ID's only to American citizens for free would eliminate any poverty restrictions, without just letting illegals and non-citizens to have a vote. Illegal Immigrants are an affront to our way of life, and deserve no privileges of US citizenship, least of all the right to influence our laws.
